| 14 | 14.Oleation therapy | Charak sutar13/82 | स्नेहद्विषः स्नेहनित्या मृदुकोष्ठाश्च ये नराः। क्लेशासहा मद्यनित्यास्तेषामिष्टा विचारणा॥८२॥ लावतैत्तिरमायूरहांसवाराहकौक्कुटाः। गव्याजौरभ्रमात्स्याश्च रसाः स्युः स्नेहने हिताः॥८३।। यावकोलकुलत्थाश्च स्नेहा: सगुडशर्कराः। दाडिमं दधि सव्योषं रससंयोगसंग्रहः ॥८४॥ स्नेहयन्ति तिलाः पूर्वं जग्धाः सस्नेहफाणिताः। कृशराश्च बहुस्नेहास्तिलकाम्बलिकास्तथा॥८५॥ फाणितं शृङ्गवेरं च तैलं च सुरया सह। पिबेद्रूक्षो भृतैराँसैर्जीर्णेऽश्नीयाच्च भोजनम्॥८६॥ तैलं सुराया मण्डेन वसा मज्जानमेव वा। पिबन् सफाणितं क्षीरं नरः स्निह्यति वातिकः॥८७॥ धारोष्णं स्नेहसंयुक्तं पीत्वा सशर्करं पयः। नरः स्निह्यति पीत्वा वा सरं दधनः सफाणितम्॥८८॥ पाञ्चप्रसृतिकी पेयापायसो माषमिश्रकः। क्षीरसिद्धो बहुस्नेहः स्नेहयेदचिरान्नरम्॥८९॥ सर्पिस्तैलवसामज्जातण्डुलप्रसृतैः शृता। पाञ्चप्रसृतिकी पेया पेया स्नेहनमिच्छता॥९०॥ | विचारणा का प्रयोग-जो मनुष्य स्नेह से द्वेष करते हों, जो नित्य प्रति स्नेह का व्यवहार करते हों, मृदुकोष्ठ वाले, कष्ट को सहन न करने वाले, जो नित्य मदिरासेवी हों, उनमें विचारणा का प्रयोग करना चाहिये॥ ८२॥. प्रयोग करने की विधि कहते हैं-वटेर, तीतर मोर, हंस, सूअर, मुर्गी, गौ, बकरा, मेंढा और मछली के मांसों का रस स्नेहन क्रिया में हितकारी है। इन मांसरसों का संस्कार करने के लिये जौ, बेर, कुलथी, घी या तेल, गुड़, शक्कर, अनारदाना, दही, सोंठ, काली मिर्च और पिप्पली को यथायोग्य मिलाना चाहिये ॥ ८३-८४ ॥. स्नेहन विधि-घी में (स्नेह में) भून कर बनाये हुए तिलकुट भोजन से पूर्व खाने से शरीर का स्नेहन करते हैं। इसी प्रकार बहुत स्नेह वाली खिचड़ी तथा तिलयुक्त 'काम्बलिक अर्थात् यूष' का भोजन से पूर्व खाना शरीर का स्नेहन करते हैं । ८५॥. रूक्ष व्यक्तियों का स्नेहन-फाणित (आधा पका गत्रे का रस, राब), अदरख और तैल-इन तीनों को एक करके, शराब में मिलाकर रूक्ष व्यक्ति पीये। इसके जीर्ण होने पर भुने हुए मांस से भोजन करे ॥ ८६॥. वातबहुल दोष वाले व्यक्ति का स्नेहन-वातप्रकृति का मनुष्य मद्य या मण्ड के साथ तैल, वसा या मजा को मिलाकर पीये तो स्नेहन होता है । वातप्रकृति का व्यक्ति राब के साथ दूध को पीये तो भी स्नेहन होता है ॥ ८७॥. धारोष्ण, ताजे दुहे हुए दूध को शर्करा एवं घी के साथ पीने से शरीर का शीघ्र स्नेहन होता है। अथवा राब के साथ दही की मलाई खाने से भी स्नेहन शीघ्र होता है ।। ८८ ॥. सद्यः (शीघ्र ) स्नेहन विधि-आगे कही जाने वाली 'पाँचप्रसृतिकी पेया' को पीकर मनुष्य शीघ्र ही स्निग्ध बन जाता है। उडदों को चावलों में मिलाकर घी आदि स्नेह में खूब भून कर दूध में पकाई (घी से युक्त) खीर जल्दी ही स्निग्ध कर देती है। पांचप्रसतिकी पेया-घी, तैल, वसा, मज्जा और चावल प्रत्येक १००-१०० ग्राम लेकर छः गुने जल में पाक करे । इसका नाम 'पाञ्चप्रसतिकी पेया' है। स्नेहन की इच्छा करने वाले व्यक्ति को इसका सेवन करना चाहिये ॥ ८९-९० ॥ | The meat juice of lava . (common quail ), tittira ( black partridge), mayura ( peacock ), hamsa (swan), varāha ( pig ), kukkuța ( red spur fowl ), go ( cow ), aja ( goat ), aurabhra ( wild sheep ) and fish are useful in oleation.” The drugs required to be mixed up with meat juice are yava ( barley), kola ( Zizyphus jujuba Lam. ), kulattha ( Dollars biflorus Linn.), sugar candy, crystal sugar, dādima (Punica granatum Linn. ), curd, śunthi ( Zingiber officinale Rosc. ), prepare (Piper longum Linn. ) and marica ( Piper nigrum Linn.).. If seeds of tila ( Sesamum indicum Linn.) together with unctuous substances, phānita (a preparation of sugar cane ), krśara ( a type of gruel ) added with sufficient quantity of unctuous substance and kāmbalika ( sour milk mixed with whey and vinegar MW. ) prepared with sesammum-seed, are taken before meals, they are useful in oleation. One having dryness should take phānita (a preparation of sugar cane ), juice of śựngavera ( Zingiber officinale Rosc. ), and oil together with wine. After they have been digested he should take his meal with minced meat.o A person with vātika constitution can be oleated by taking oil, together with the upper portion of wine, muscle fat, marrow, milk and phāņita ( a preparation of sugar cane ). One gets oleated by taking warm milk fresh from the cow mixed up with sugar and unctuous substance or cream of the curd along with phānita. Pañcaprasytikī type of gruel prepared with milk and māsa ( Phaseolus radiatus Linn.) and added with unctuous substance in sufficient quantity oleates immediately. Pañcaprasștikīpeyā is prepared of ghee, oil, muscle fat, marrow and rice-prasția ( 96 g. ) of each. This is prescribed for one in need of oleation therapy.
